Wooden Hair Clip No. 502

Model 502 is one of the technically and manufacturing-wise most complex HPstylstudio designs. Its shape is not merely decorative; the entire profile works as a flexible structural system that adapts to the amount of hair and the chosen hairstyle.

Unlike Model 311, it has no central rib. It flexes along its full length and is locally reinforced in the areas where it works with the Kompletka. This allows it to combine flexibility, secure holding and very low weight.

The model can be used for a flat knot as well as a French twist, including a high, voluminous twist. Size and placement are chosen according to hair length, volume and hairstyle.

Model 502 does not use the classic system of a central rib with flexible side sections found in Model 311. Its construction is a continuous profile that flexes along its entire length.

Local shape reinforcements are formed where the clip connects with the Kompletka. These strengthen the points where the clip and Kompletka support each other, while the remaining parts of the profile stay flexible.

When used correctly, the hold therefore does not come from strong clamping at a single point, but from the balanced interaction of the flexible clip, the hair and the Kompletka.

Co je Kompletka

In Model 502, the Kompletka is a functional part of the entire flexible system. When inserted into the clip, it creates counterpressure against the flexible profile and, together with the hair, closes the structural system.

For this reason, the Kompletka in Model 502 should not be understood merely as a separate auxiliary pin. Its position and the way it passes through the hairstyle directly affect how the flexible profile rests against the hair and how securely and comfortably the hairstyle holds.

Twist the hair into a flat knot and spread it more across the width so the hairstyle stays close to the head. Place Model 502 over the knot according to its volume; the flexible profile can adapt to the amount of hair, so there is no need to force the clip open.

Secure the hairstyle with the Kompletka, guiding it beneath the lower section of hair close to the head and back through the clip structure. The Kompletka creates the necessary counterpressure against the flexible profile.

A correctly made flat updo holds securely without being unnecessarily tight. If you feel excessive pressure, adjust the position of the clip or reduce the tension.

Pull the hair back and twist it into a vertical French twist. Depending on the hair length and volume, you can create a classic twist or a higher, fuller version.

Position Model 502 over or into the relief of the hairstyle so that the flexible profile works with the volume of hair. There is no need to stretch the clip to its maximum. Then secure the hairstyle with the Kompletka so that the clip and Kompletka create counterpressure against each other.

The finished hairstyle should feel secure and comfortable. The position of the model can vary according to the amount of hair and the desired shape of the twist.

Model 502 works as a flexible wooden system, so never stretch it to its maximum possible limit and do not force more hair into the clip than is appropriate for the selected size and method of use.

Excessive mechanical stress can overload the wood or the Kompletka. The finished hairstyle should hold through the correct distribution of pressure and the interaction of the clip, hair and Kompletka, not through the strongest possible clamping.

If the hairstyle pulls or presses uncomfortably, adjust its position or tension, or choose a different size.
