Kompletka is an original part of the HPstylstudio hair-clip construction system. It is not merely an auxiliary pin. Together with the clip, it forms one functional unit that secures the hair firmly, comfortably and gently.
What is Kompletka?
Kompletka No. 100 is an original component of models from the HPstylstudio atelier and, in every relevant model, forms one functional unit with the clip.
When inserted into the clip, it passes beneath the lower section of hair and, together with the clip’s locking system, creates a secure system for holding the hairstyle. It provides the necessary counterpressure so the hair can remain firmly fastened without having to be pulled excessively tight.
Kompletka is therefore not simply an auxiliary hairpin. Its shape, position and the way it is guided through the hairstyle are part of the construction principle of HPstylstudio models.
Why is it called Kompletka?
The name Kompletka was not invented as a marketing term or during a search for a product name.
It arose naturally while we were making our first models.
Once the clip was finished, one element was still missing: the part that would connect it with the hair and allow the whole system to work properly. The model simply needed to be completed.
That is where the word Kompletka came from.
We began using the name in the workshop, and over time it became a natural part of our vocabulary. We never felt any need to replace it with another term.
That is why Kompletka remains Kompletka in every language version of HPstylstudio.
Why an ordinary hairpin was not enough
At first glance, Kompletka may look like a simple wooden hairpin.
Its actual function is different.
The shape of the clip and the shape of Kompletka are designed to work together. The clip acts on the hairstyle from above, while Kompletka creates the necessary counterpressure from inside.
The hairstyle is therefore not held only by strong pressure at a single point.
Instead, a balanced system is created between the shape of the clip, the pressure of the hair and Kompletka. This allows the model itself to remain extremely light while still holding the hairstyle securely.
This construction principle is one of the foundations of HPstylstudio hair clips.
The shape of Kompletka evolved gradually
The current shape of Kompletka did not appear all at once.
Over the years, we changed its length, curve, profile and thickness. Every change had a practical reason.
While watching customers use our clips, we realized something important.
When a woman inserts Kompletka into the clip, she cannot see its tip at all. The movement is guided entirely by touch.
That is why its function inside the hairstyle is only part of the design. Equally important is how Kompletka sits in the hand, how it moves through the hair and how naturally it finds its position in the clip.
Its characteristic shape is therefore also part of the ergonomics of the entire system.
Kompletka and the locking system
The construction of HPstylstudio clips varies between individual model ranges.
Some models use a pronounced locking system, others rely on flexible elements, and some combine several construction principles.
The role of Kompletka can therefore differ slightly from one model to another.
The basic principle remains the same: the clip and Kompletka must act together.
When used correctly, the aim is not to squeeze the hair with maximum force. The hairstyle should be secure, but comfortable.
It is the interaction of both parts that allows the hair to stay in place without unnecessary pulling or excessive pressure.
One Kompletka, different hairstyles
The same basic construction principle is used across many different models, while the actual hairstyle can vary.
Depending on the construction range, HPstylstudio clips can be used to create, for example:
- a flat updo,
- a French twist,
- a bun,
- and other fastening methods depending on the construction of the specific model.
Separate instructions and videos will therefore gradually be added to individual models to show the correct way to use them.
Kompletka is their shared functional element, but the exact fastening technique always depends on the type of clip and hairstyle.
Why we recommend using the original Kompletka
Kompletka is not a universal replacement hairpin.
It is designed as part of a specific construction system.
Using a pin with a different shape, thickness or curve can change how the clip works with the hair. The hairstyle may hold less securely, feel less comfortable, or may not function correctly at all.
We therefore recommend using the original Kompletka intended for the size and construction of the HPstylstudio model.
With some TOP models, its shape or functional principle may be individual.
One of the signatures of HPstylstudio
Over many years of making hair accessories, dozens of different HPstylstudio clip models have been created.
Their shape, size and method of use may differ considerably, but many of them share one principle:
the model and Kompletka form one functional unit.
Kompletka is therefore not an accessory added to the clip only after the design is finished.
It is part of the construction from the moment the model is created.
Perhaps that is why its original workshop name has survived all these years.
Without Kompletka, the model would not be finished.
It would not be complete.
“Kompletka is our unique signature on the model.”
